About the Firm

Independent Fire Service Counsel, Grounded in Real Experience

Kenyon Advisory Group was built for Ontario municipalities that need practical, experienced guidance — delivered in a way that works for smaller communities.

Why We Exist

Smaller municipalities have distinct needs — tighter budgets, volunteer or composite departments, and councils that need clear, actionable guidance they can move on. We built Kenyon Advisory Group specifically to serve that context. Kenyon Advisory Group was founded on a simple idea: smaller municipalities deserve practical fire service advice from people with a deep understanding of what it means to manage volunteer departments, navigate council expectations, and keep a community safe on a tight budget. We focus on smaller Ontario municipalities because that's where the need is greatest and where practical, experienced guidance can make the biggest difference.

Our Approach

Practical Over Theoretical

We focus on solutions that can be put to work right away. Every recommendation is grounded in operational reality and shaped around what your community can actually act on.

Right-Sized for Your Community

We tailor every engagement to your community's size, budget, and the way your fire service actually operates — because the right answer for one small Ontario municipality may look different than it does anywhere else.

Completely Independent

We work exclusively for municipalities and fire service organizations. We have no vendor relationships, no product affiliations, and no conflicts of interest — ever.

Plain Language, Always

Our reports and recommendations are written to be read and used — not filed away. We communicate clearly with fire service leadership, municipal staff, and council alike.
